Both of my kiddos are now full-fledged elementary students, and with both starting new schools this year, it’s taken a month or so to feel like I have a sense of normalcy in new routines. Laughter is a Gentle Reminder

Reposted from Cornerstone West LA. Work on Monday was not laughter. Then there was the drive home. 20 minutes stretched into a full hour because, well, this is LA. I grumbled, I grimaced, I let the day’s anxiety Riverdance upon my chest. Against my better judgement, I snuck a peek at my 2 year old in the back seat. She had a shoebox on top of her head and announced, “What am I doing?”
