Eleven Months
The last of my monthly posts, and it continues to amaze me how quickly the time flies. Not even a year ago, I was taking daily walks around my neighborhood with a tiny bundle, strapped into a car seat, clipped into my stroller. And now she faces out to the world when we go for a run. I look at photos from last month and they are markedly different. This month we traveled to Texas, where we got our first piano lesson from Pappaw.
Eloïse experimented with tons of new food, including sauerkraut and sausage, quinoa, and pretzel bread with hummus. She really likes bread.
At nearly a year, Eloïse still wears many 6-9 month clothes - my favorites include several dresses I made, although she greets them with mixed feelings. Crawling plus dress often equals face-plant.
But I believe she may be walking soon. We bought her a cute little push cart from Ikea which she is slowly starting to figure out how to use. Not that I should be encouraging this - there are still quite a few parts of our house that need some E-proofing - but she is just so cute waddling along...
