Some Words on Writing

Juggling doubles makes it hard to find time for writing, but I still enjoy the opportunity so much when it arises. Take this post, for example, which I am typing with my thumbs via the WordPress app while my baby nurses. Whatever works, right? I recently started my first gig blogging for another site, Cornerstone West LA, which has altogether different thrills. I have to submit drafts weeks ahead. I have a real editor checking to be sure I don't spout out nonsense. And I'm given direction on content. I just love it. You can read my first post about finding peace in the throes of new motherhood here. And keep your eyes peeled for another on laughter in early December (just in time for the holidays!!).

Someday, perhaps when the kids are in school and I have more free time (seasoned moms, feel free to laugh), I will even compile enough thoughts for a book. It will probably have one of the following titles, or maybe I will get around to the whole series. Either way, I call dibs on these...
